Sydney University Education and Social Work Society

The Sydney University Education and Social Work Society (EDSOC) is the student-run society representing all of the staff and students in the Faculty of Education and Social Work at Sydney University.

EDSOC recently held its Annual General Meeting where members of the faculty elected a new Executive Committee. The Executive committee is charged with overseeing the running of EDSOC, but is eager to work with staff and students - EDSOC is YOUR faculty society, after all!

For now, the Executive is focusing on improving three key areas:

• Fostering inclusivity and diversity within the faculty and within the society;
• Providing students with greater access to social and academic opportunites; and
• Developing a new, fresh image and increasing accessibility.

The Executive will be working tirelessly to achieve these aims and will be continuously revisiting the aims as they reflect upon the progress made throughout the year. If you can suggest ways that EDSOC can be improved or would like to have a more active role in the society please contact us.
