Get ready to jump head-first into 2011 with the Sydney University Education and Social Work Society and your friends from uni!
We've already begun planning a range of exciting social, cultural, and academic events to keep the staff and students of the Faculty of Education and Social Work entertained and busy right throughout Semester One.
The semester will kick-off with the launch of the 2010 issue of our annual journal Drylight, then it's straight into our social events for the year. First is our bi-annual Cardie Crawl through The Rocks, followed by a smörgåsbord of small events — between the serving of delicious baked goodies at our bake sales and the return of our weekly BBQs and our successful Pizza Day you're sure to never go hungry at uni again. To top it all off there is the end of semester Party Cruise through Sydney Harbour that is sure to be a night to remember — and that's all just for starters...
Be sure to check out our stall at O-Week (23–25 February) for more details on what The Education and Social Work Society can offer you in 2011 and to meet the friendly execs who will be manning the stall. See you then!
