EDSOC's 2011 Annual General Meeting
Come along to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for your chance to get involved in EDSOC for 2011! Being involved in EDSOC is a great way to meet new people and become more active in the faculty. The AGM will be held on Wednesday 16th March, at 1:00pm in Lecture Theatre 351, Education Building.
At our AGM we will be voting in a new executive for 2011. All students in the faculty that hold an Access Card are eligible to run for any position, regardless of year or previous experience. The available positions are:
- President
- Vice-President (up to 2)
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Events Officer (up to 2)
- Communications Officer
- Barbeque Officers (up to 2)
- General Executive Members (up to 10)
Information on these roles can be found in our constitution. If you would like further information on any of the available positions, please feel free to contact us with your questions.
To nominate for a position, please send an email to edsoc@edsoc.org.au with the following information:
- Your name, degree and year;
- Your Access ID; and
- A short (maximum 200 words) blurb introducing yourself (optional). These will be read out at the meeting, so if you can't make it you are still eligible to nominate and be voted for.
Nominations will only be accepted verbally at the meeting for positions that have received no nominations in writing.
